the cable to my hood release broke and i cant get my hood open. please help!!!!!!

If it broke at the lever inside, you can use a pair of vise grips to pull on the cable, otherwise you will have to raise the car and get to the cable from underneath or try to get to the latch.
You should be able to see the cable where it exits from the firewall, cut it, cut protective cover to get to enough of the cable to pull with vise grips.
