1993 Pontiac Grand Am Check engine oil

My check engine oil lite comes on briefly every so often, I think it is a connection at the engine but where do I find what to look for

Is your engine oil at full level? If it is then it may be a weak oil pump causing this or a fualty oil sending unit. Sending unit should be near oil filter housing.
