The car starts when cold, but when hot starts to misfire heavily, then dies. Tried two different modules, did not solve the problem. Once car was cold module that started the car before, would not start it again, something destroying modules. The first module did show a fail module code, used one shows no code and car does not start.

Start by cleaning the module grounds, it grounds to block and if not properly grounded, will destroy module.
Also check main ground from battery, they should be clean and tight.
Make sure coils are grounded properly.

Also inspect wiring to module, look for any frayed/pinched wires or signs of heat distress, like an exhaust leak.

Remove and clean the crank sensor.

Also look at motor mounts, excessive engine movement can cause a short in ignition wiring.
