1991 Pontiac Grand Am Clutch

I have 91 Pontiac Grand Am 5 speed. It will go into 1, 2, 3 and 4th no problem but will not go into 5th or reverse. It feels like something is blocking it from shifting. What could be the problem?

The 5th gear and Reverse gear share the same shaft in the transmission, this could be bent or the linkage could also be bent. Can you shift into either of these gears if you turn the motor off?
