How much should a replacement for the valve cover gasket cost me? It has a slow leak and needs to be replaced. I have been quoted over $200 for parts and labor. Does this seem high?

unfortunately thats what it will cost to have someone do it for you. i know they have a updated gasket for that engine and it is expensive. id definately make sure he is using the updated rubber and metal gasket. hope this helps. feedback is appreciated
