1989 Pontiac Grand Am cranks wont start

the engine is a quad 4 it cranks but wont start, if I prime the intake it starts and runs but when i shut it off it wont start again. Ive replaced the fuel regulator,oil psi sensor,fuel pump ,and filter.this car is for my daughters 16 th b-day in march please help.

If you can hear the fuel pump for 2secs when key at cranking position check the fuel pressure if its within specs though its new-also check for injection pulses
