Will 18 inch aftermarket rims cause problems on a pontiac G6 with stock rims of 17inch

We only recommend direct fit parts. However, the wheels (as long as it is a low enough profile tire) should be fine. The only thing that may happen is the speedo may read slower than you're actually going.
