Six cylinder all wheel drive automatic 56,789 miles
My windshield wipers stop working, but I can hear the motor working. They were frozen two days ago, now that it is thawed out. It moved once. Now they not moving at all.

Remove the wiper arm and check to see if the teeth on the post or arm have stripped.
Let me know what you find.

Six cylinder front wheel drive automatic 73,000 miles
My windshield wipers stopped working out of the blue. We have had a lot of snow, like three feet within the past ten days. I do not even know where to begin to look for what is wrong. They move if I move them myself, but other than that, they just make the noise like they are moving.
