Service Engine Soon Light

I have a 1988 Firebird formula 350 and I was wantiogn to knwo how to see what the Service engien soon light mean on my 84 z28 you could short 2 teminals together and read the blinks of the light. What pins do you short on a 88 Firebird formula 350. The light keeps coming on and its hard to start.

One of the easy ways to do it is if there is a autozone in your area bring the car there and they let you use there engine code retreiver for free

I got a autozone not far from here thank you! I didn't know they did that I thought they just checked the electical, going there tomorrow! :Lol:

Autozone cant check my car only check 96 and newer so they couldnt check it but they said its the starter so Ill see.
