I have a 1994 Firebird that has a rusted oil pan- do I need to remove the engine to replace it?

[quote:3a4f96435b="simba777"]I have a 99 ford f150,v 6 with 52,000 miles. My problem is when the truck is cold, sits overnight or 5 hours or so,when I take off the trans slips or neutrals between 2nd and third gears. It happens pretty quick then doesnt seem to do it again.the truck runs pretty smooth after this

If it has the 4R70W transmission there is a TSB #99-18-5 that has you check and replace (if needed) the 2-3 accumulator piston/seal due to leaking when cold. Pays about 2 hours labor since it's above the valve body...
