i have a 1991 pontiac firebird with a 6 cyl automatic with approximately 145000 miles. it is idling rough and has a sputter from time to time. at times it has a hesitation when taking off. you have to pump the accelerator pedal to get it to take off. any ideas on what it could be? any help would be appreciated

Check the Idle Air Control Valve/Exhaust Gas Recirculation Valve and Throttle Position Sensor.

Or could be the O2 and Coolant Temperature Sensors.
