2002 Pontiac Firebird No Throttle Response

Car just repaired for blown intake manifold gasket. Still in shop and now can't get accelerator response. Producing codes 1120, 1220, 1221, and 1515. Code 1221 doesn't clear, the others do, but reoccur after few minutes of running the engine. Shop says must replace electronic throttle control, very expensive. Do I have any other options?

Acceleration good before intake repair? if yes then have shop check fuses in underhood box the ETC and TCC BATT. May have shorted duriing repair
