Service Engine Soon Light is lit. At first it was blinking, then it stayed lit. The idle is really rough, and the engine smells hotter than normal.
The oil is fresh and full, and a new air conditioning system was freshly installed. Do you have any idea what is the problem?

You will need to have the codes read, either buy a scantool, or go to Autozone, they read them for free, write them down and post here. If light blinks, it means probable damage to catalytic converter is occuring! Buying a scantool, and not driving is prefered at this point! Tool is available by clicking on my link in sig file at bottom of my answer!
