2000 Pontiac Firebird V8 Two Wheel Drive Automatic
I'm working on a 2000 TransAm for my room mate that has sat for the last year. After charging the battery I've determined that the fuel pump is not working. I've pulled the unit and bench tested it and have determined that it needs a replacement unit. However when I checked the voltage at the connecting block that the unit plugs into I get zero voltage.
A friend told me of a sensor that cuts off the power to the fuel pump if the car exceeds a certain angle that needs to be reset. I can find no mention of it in the Hayes repair book. I need to know if the information I was given is accurate and if so where the sensor is located so it can be reset.
