1999 Pontiac Firebird Oil Pressure Gauge

When the vehicle is turned off the oil pressure gauge still shows a reading. Is this normal or should the gauge go all the way to the left when the vehicle is turned off like the other gauges? Just want to make sure the gauge is working properly. Please advise. Thanks!

Check the oil pressure with a mechanical gauge if normal replace the pressure switch.
