1999 Pontiac Firebird V8 Automatic 71,000 miles

Driver side parking light was out and driver blinker doesn't work (lights up but that's all); replaced parking light bulb; blinker still doesn't work and the headlamp will not go down. Help!

Sounds like your turn signal flasher could be faulty. However before you replace the flasher, check your fuses. If they are ok, check the wiring for loose, or open connections. If no problems are found in the wiring, replace the flasher. The flasher is a small canister shaped unit located under the dash.

As for your head light issue, the motor has gone bad. Replace it with a new and you should be okay.
