Electrical problem
1999 Pontiac Firebird V8 Two Wheel Drive Automatic

I have a 1999 pontiac trans am ws6 has about 800hp, red optima battery relocated in rear. The battery has recently went bad so I tryed to jump it with my truck hooked the jumper cables up correct to my truck and my younger brother hooked the cables up backwards to the trans am battery and now the car has no power at all, nothing. No lights, will not crank, no radio.I replaced the battery with another red top optima and still nothing at all. All fuses under dash and under hood are fine, what else would of fried?Computer, alternator, starter?

A positive to positve, negitive to negitive jump start can melt all of the wires in your cars electrical system and damage the alternator. That's the worst that can happen. If your lucky, all you fried were the battery connector cables. Replace them and see if you get power. It the car still has no power after replaceing the cables, test the alternator. If it's bad replace it, if not your electrical system is probably toast. Goog Luck!
