1997 Pontiac Firebird 6 cyl Two Wheel Drive Automatic

I drive a 1997 Pontiac Firebird 3.8L and when i was driving my car today i turned on the left blinker and when i did this the blinker didnt blink..it just stayed on like a light and never blinked and when i tried the right blinker that one worked fine and when i put the hazards on they both were blinking..can you tell me why my blinker is not working please?

There is a blinker that needs replaced. It will either be in the fuse area or behind the glove box area.
