I would like more power in my Firebird, should i rebuild the engine? put high end performance parts in it? or both?

At 85k miles you do not need to rebiuld. Try after market parts. Increase your air intake. get a beter exhaust. Get a K&N cold air intake. The best thing you can do is get a better computer from Jeggs.
