When ever i start the my car it idles rough and when i put in gear and start moving it starts shaking a lot and then it stops shaking and goes back to normal. Although at idle theres a knocking noise in the upper right side of the engine could my knocking sensor be bad ?

have you checked the engine oil level? if oil level is good might wanna check oil pressure
