I have a 94 firebird that needs a new fuel pump. I took it to a shop and they are trying to charge me 889.00 for the parts and labor. I asked how much did the fuel pump cost itself and was told 4 hundred plus and 4 humdred plus for labor. I called a auto part store to price a due pump myself and it cost 220 for a Bosch, theirs was ac delco. I want to know if 4 hundred dollars is too much for labor. I don't trust them since they tried to over charge more for a part of less quality.
