1989 Pontiac Firebird Please help had this for like 2 month

when I start my car it doesn't ideal. The rpm jump up and down and most of the time stall out. It also does it while I am driving and stop at lights. But if I drive it on the freeway after words it works better. Also it gets worst in the rain?? Please Help
