1989 Pontiac Firebird V8 Two Wheel Drive Automatic

hi, i have a 89 firebird with a ls1 engine,i have two probems 1-when engine is hot and you shut the car off it wont restart ,it cranks but wont start until it cools down 2-the car has a 500 rpm swing in park and coming to a stop,the car ends up stalling if i dont gas and brake /work that has been done-new plugs/wires/cap/rotor/fuel filter/fuel pump/idel air control valve.i bought the car this way so i dont know how long its been going on ,thanks for helping

Hello, did you do any basic testing before replacing anything? When the vehicle refuses to start, have a helper crank it while you check for spark at the plugs. If that checks out, use a gage and check fuel pressure. Can you check for troublecodes?

In addition to JDL213, has the check engine light come on? Also, like he said, if there is no spark, there could be a problem with the ignition module.
