I am wondering what the part is called on the hose between the firewall and the intake manifold it is a plactic round piece with a vacuum line or something also going into it. It is leaking antifreeze out if it and running down the hose and onto the valve covers and headers on the passenger side. It seems the intake was replaced by a summit manifold and is carburated not fuel injected

that's your heater valve.

when you want heat in the car, vacuum is sent to the valve and it opens to let hot water flow through the heater core.
