I have a 1986 trans am 5.0 high out put. It useally runs at 220 but sometimes it red lines after an hour or 1 1/2. The radiator flows ok. I added a second electric fan that seem to help some. Can you please give me some ideas what to do to solve this problem?
Thank You

If flow is good...check thermostat, coolant level, and if system is airbound, Many times on cars this old, the impellers on the water pump are disolved, and yours may be partially gone...
