Both my A/C clutch and cooling fan work with DC applied directly, but not under operation. I have schematics but no physical locations for relays and fusible links. Could the problems be related? The schematic I have indicates NO.

Any help would be appreciated debugging these issues.

I am not an AC guy, but am pretty good with electric, but I have no idea where relays and fusible links for this car physically are, that's where I need to look I think.

Like I said, both the AC clutch and electric cooling fan work with DC applied directoy, but no other time do they work
