1985 Pontiac Firebird Exhaust manifolds are glowing

1985 Pontiac Firebird V8 Two Wheel Drive Automatic

Help Please !!! My exhaust maifolds are glowing red .I've put on a new Flowmaster 80 series exhaust system Took out the Catilaytic Converter in case it was plugged . put in temp pipe and drove 10 miles They still glowed red. Put the converter back in place .

Run it with the front pipes not connected at all....I assume the problem was not present prior.

Yes it still glows red when we disconnect the exhaust from the headers.????? Thank you for your response. Any other Ideas would be apperciated

Okay, then you have a situation that is causing too much fuel. What is your fuel pressure?
