I have a replacement dash to go into my 1988 Fiero. This is the piece that has the speakers openings that goes goes all the way across the car adjacent to the windshield. After looking at the replacement, I am concerned just how to do the replacement without tearing everything apart. The Haynes manual I have does not show anything concerning this type of work. I have provided a photo to further explain the part I want to install. Anything you can provide to remove the existing dash section and install the new one would be greatly appreciated. This is all I found on it.

Loosen shift trim plate. 1. Remove front console trim plate. Remove front console pad assembly. Remove instrument panel-to-reinforcement screws and remove instrument panel. If the dash doesn't fit or you don't end up using it, let me know.
