Engine Performance problem
1985 Pontiac Fiero 6 cyl Two Wheel Drive Automatic

NEED TO FIND OUT IF YOU CAN TIME A 2.8 WITHOUT A TIMING PLATE. PLEASE TELL ME HOW.

Ground terminals A and B of the ALDL (located behind the plate in the front of the console). Check timing with an inductive timing light on #1 wire. Timing should be 10 degrees BTDC.
