The car starts and runs fine. I just have a problem when I press on the gas. I press on the gas and the car want to die. I have to slowly push on the gas or it dies. If I press on the gas quickly the car dies or tries to die. I think the car is getting to much gas and I am flooding it out. I am not sure because it has an early type of fuel injection.

this throttle body is notorious for plugging the vacuum ports under the throttle body with carbon. this creates no vacuum to the map sensor, so when you step on the gas fast the computer can not see a quick decrease in engine vacuum to adjust fuel. just remove the vacuum line to the map sensor and check vacuum. hope this helps
