My 84 Pontiac Fiero's Hydraulic system won't engage the clutch. The clutch is brand new. The problem seems to be with the hydraulic system. I have replaced the master cylinder on the firewall @ the front of the car and the slave cylinder @ the back of the car. I bled the lines to the tune of going through 2 bottles of fluid. Any Idea why it still won't engage the clutch? The rod coming out of the slave cylinder doesn't seem to be pushing the clutch arm far enough. Am I missing something? To Tim, Bleeder screw is on top. Only way you can position it but thanks for the tip.

Is the bleeder screw for the slave cylinder on the bottom? If it is the air is still trapped inside. Sometimes you need to remove the slave and position it so the bleeder is at the very top to get out all the air. Hope this helps
