How do you test for bad fuel pump and how do you det to the fuel pump?

Apply 12V to terminal "G" of the ALDL (located in the center console behind the cigarette lighter panel). You can use the 12V supply from the cigarette lighter. If pump does not run, then it is bad. The pump is located in the fuel tank. This is a low pressure pump (13psi) so do not use the V6 pump.

If the pump runs, then you have a bad relay.
