I changed the drive belt last month because of chatter noise. Now I noticed a clicking sound.Took a look at it and see the belt jumping as though it had something on one of the pully groves.Took the belt off and put it on several times.Could it be the adjuster pully worn out?

Belt tensioner may be worn out, check it for movement. If it doesn't move then there is your problem.
