For the past two weeks, my AC has stopped working whenever the ambient temperature goes above about 75 degrees. I can't even turn the fan on. But when it is cooler, the system works fine. Any ideas?

The display lights up but nothing works - not even the fan. Also, I have also noticed that, when the system is working, if I turn the engine off without turning the AC system off first, the system will not work the rest of the day.

It is an SE with manual control. A new development - as of this am, it doesn't come on in cool weather either. Lights still come on, but nothing happens.

Problem being, since the controller lights up, but wont turn anything on it could be a bad connection at the plug, but the PCM also controls function through pressure switch feed-back.Have you had the climate control system scanned for trouble codes?Even the manual systems will store a code if there is a feed or controller issue.
