Hi,
I have a 2003 Pontiac Bonneville 3.8L non supercharged engine. I have a coolant leak in my car that ends up in my floor board and I get a smell of coolant when I start my vehicle in the morning. I was wandering if the dash had to come out to do this repair and about how long it would take to do it. Is there anything else that needs purchased to complete this repair.
Thanks
Randy

Hello and thanks for the donation!

You will need a pair of spring hose clamp pliers to do this repair.

Drain the cooling system

remove the fuel injector sight shield

position the hose clamp pliers in order to remove the heater hose clamps

remove the heater hoses from the heater core

remove the left side sound insulator

remove the right side sound insulator

remove the instrument panel lower trim plate

remove the air distributor duct screws

remove the air distributor duct

remove the heater core shield

remove the heater core cover and heater core
