when should i change them, and do i buy original from dealer or kyb GR2

I would replace them when they are no longer controling the bouncing. An old rule of thumb is, bounce the car. If it stops bouncing within 3 bounces, they are ok. As far as brand, I'm not allowed to be brand specific. Go with the best price. There are many good brands to choose from.
