2000 Pontiac Bonniville moonroof will not close

Moon roof switch will engage and fully open. Performs as manual says (goes to first stop when opening, then fully open on second try.
Moon roof will not close and stops about 2/3 shut
If interior roof is open, moon roof tries to close it, but even if interior roof is close all the way, moon roof stops at 2/3

You need to partially lower the headliner, be carful not to break it! Release the clutch and crank it shut, Here's the trouble shooting guide...
