Hello, the last couple days when I have been driving my car every once in a while, especially when I have my foot on the brake, my car appears to lose power for a second & then corrects itself. I was just sitting at a LONG red light & my car did it twice. It got me nervous almost like I was gonna breakdown. I notice my RPM gets real low & my car like loses it's power but then comes back. Is this a sign I need a new alternator or battery or is this something alot worse than that?

Thanks for your help!

Hi there,

I would just be getting the tune checked first, also have a scan done to check for set fault codes, also just check if it dose this with out the foot brake applied, as you may have a fault starting in the booster which can affect the engine idle through a vacuum leak.
