2000 Pontiac Bonneville 6 cyl Automatic 14000 miles

I' m replacing my rear struts and the ones I purchased do not have a small line or a place for for it as the stock struts have. What is it and will the ones I bought work ?

What type of small line? Do you have air shocks on the car?
