2000 Pontiac Bonneville belt tensioner

By chance is the tensioner a left hand thread on the pully? I broke a tool, so I don't know if it a left hand thread or just really frozen.

The thread on my car, which I am the one who asked the question. Is indeed a left hand thread. You screw it in counterclockwise, which allows you to put a wrench on the bolt to move the tensioner back to install the belt. Thanks guys but you were wrong in this case. I had to find out the hardway and remove the whole assy. And put it in a vice. Then tried it both ways. Viola! Not lefty loosey, righty tighty.
