1998 Pontiac Bonneville water in the line?

I WAS TOLD THAT MY CAR STUTTERS AND JERKS AT TIMES BECAUSE I HAVE WATER IN MY LINE I WAS TOLD TO PUT RUBBING ALCOHOL IN MY TANK TO EVAPORATE THE WATER. THE CAR IS STILL JERKING AND THEN IT WILL CUT OFF. IT ACTS LIKE IT HAVING TROUBLE GETTING FUEL WHEN I PRESS THE GASS IT JERKS AND THEN SOME TIMES IT JUST SHUTS OFF CAN YOU PLEASE HELP ME.

Chances are there is no water. Also, alcohol in the fuel isn't a good idea.

Has the check engine light ever come on? Have you checked fuel pump pressure?
