Hi I need to know which shims do I put on my starter so that it comes on with out breaking my starter

Were there shims when you removed the original? I don't think they required them. What is happening to the starter?

There where no shims on the starter.
But the starter broke the same way the old starter broke it is breaking the half of dome off. From the base to the top all the way around

Wow. Are you sure the flywheel is tight? How long did the original last.

From what I know since I got the car in march.
No I do not know if the flywheel is tight.I will check.
Could that be the only problem

I can't think of anything different other than when installed, it's not straight or it's loose.
