1998 Pontiac Bonneville Positive Battery Cable(s)?

Why are there three positive cables on my car? I don't find any info in the repair manual for three cables or how to change them properly

Are they all the same size or a one big one and 2 small. If so the big one goes straight to the starter and the small one are integrated with the fusible links.
