1997 Pontiac Bonneville Brake Indicator light

My brake indicator light stays on constantly and there is a dinging noise until I turn the car off. Any suggestions???

First fully depress your parking brake and release it, making sure it's fully released. If this doesn't solve your problem, then have your computer scanned. AutoZone does this for free, but I'm not sure their generic scanner has the capability to interrogate the ABS computer.

If they don't, then take it to a shop that does.
