1996 Pontiac Bonneville 6 cyl 240000 miles

We replaced the thermostat thinking the car wouldn't heat because we thought it was broke. The car still will not heat. The fan comes on and the engine heats up to normal range but the heater will not work. What could be the problem?

Check the heater core if its clogged-up
