1994 Pontiac Bonneville 6 cyl Front Wheel Drive Automatic

I REPLACED THE SENSOR BUT SOMETIMES THE CHECK ENGINE LIGHT COMES ON AND THEN THE TRANSMISSION SEEMS TO WINE AND CHANGES GEARS JERKY. DO YOU HAVE ANY IDEA WHATS GOING ON?
