I have rebuilt Rochester Quadrajets many times in the past but never one in the 1980's era. I understand there are electronics involved with this carburetor and wanted to find out what sort of electronic parts and adjustments are going to be needed once the mechanical part of the carb is overhauled with a new kit.

Thanks for your help,

Ron

Wow, it feels like it's been 20 years since I worked on a feedback carburetor, Oh yeah... it has.

Normally you don't have to replace that long valve thing.
(hell I cant even remember what they're called, something like mixture solenoid valve)
Just clean it really well.
If it was bad, you would have had a driveability problem.

Thanks for making me feel old.
