2002 Pontiac Aztek over heats

Engine Cooling problem
2002 Pontiac Aztek Front Wheel Drive Automatic 157000 miles

my car runs hot. the cooling fans will not work,but they do work when i run my heater fan on the inside of the car. i have checked the fuses and relays. i have changed the engine coolant temperture sensor and flushed the radiator.

Hi:
Does the car overheat while at highway speeds or only in stop and go traffic? Have you checked the fan relays?
