Does a 2001 pontiac aztek have a timing chain or belt and if so, when should it be changed and what is the usual cost. Thanks

Your vehicle is equipped with a timing chain. Below are estimates for the labor and parts. Estimates will vary depending on repair locations as well as brand of parts used etc...
Most owner's manuals will suggest replacing timing chain every 150,000 - 200,000 miles.
Hope this helps..
