I have no heat. My top rad hose is warm and is not rock hard so I figure the coolant is circulating. However the heater blows very good but no heat comes from it. The temp light came on in the vehicle today. Any suggestions. Any help would be appreciated.

Hi:
First, is the coolant full? Also, did the light come on because the car was overheating?

No. I did retighten all the hose clamps and that took care of the dripping but it seems that there is still the smell there and I'm curious as to how long I would smell that for.

Try unplugging electric cooling fans, start engine, letengine warm a couple minutes, turn on heat, PLUG FANS IN. DON LEAVE UNPLUGED, ENGINE WILL OVER HEAT
